Neuropsychological Assessment
A lengthy specialized assessment of the relationship between the
brain/central nervous system and behavior.
Personal Adjustment Counseling
Counseling that is focused on understanding the changes in one's
overall functioning from injury and what adaptations must be made
for a successful outcome.
In-Clinic & In-Home Family Treatment
Treatment focused on family needs involving work with the family
as a whole, as well as parents and child individual needs.
Stress Management Training
Successful strategies for dealing with day-to-day stressors. This
is highly important if one's former method's have been compromised
and there is a need for new methods.
Expert Testimony
Trial or deposition testimony related to: impact of injury on the
functional outcome of the individual (including impact of injury
on home, work, relationships, and future needs), competency, adoption
and/or child custody.
Independent Medical Evaluation
An independent assessment of an injured workers medical records,
a neuropsychological evaluation, if needed, and opinion on extent
of injury and recovery prognosis.
Return To Work Planning and Consultation
Working with the individual and employer to assist in planning a
gradual return to work with compensation for disabilities.
School Planning and Consultation
Working with teachers, counselors, family, and consultants to adapt
school programming to fit the disabled student.
Cognitive Retraining
Programming of successful cognitive strategies for dealing with
compensation of disability related to injury and/or emotional disability.
Case Consultation
Working with case managers, house managers, parole and probation,
consultants, and other individuals on planning for coordinated treatment
for optimal outcome for individuals.
Behavioral Programming
Working with the individual, staff, and/or family on learning successful
strategies for dealing with ongoing behavior issues often related
to injury, cognitive and emotional disabilities.
Staff Training
Specialized training for care staff in dealing with behavior issues
with disabled individuals.
Family and Individual Counseling
Counseling for individuals and for families coping with general
life changes and/or daily stressors. Focused therapeutic intervention
for individuals and/or families experiencing changes brought about
by injury/disability/emotional difficulties.
